Refund policy

SOLTECH sells digital guides. Nothing is posted, nothing is packed, and nothing has to travel back to us. That keeps this policy short, and it lets us put the plain thing first: if a guide is not right for you, we refund it in full within 30 days of purchase, and no explanation is required.

The short version

  • 30 calendar days from the moment you buy.
  • No reason needed. A sentence with your order number is enough.
  • A full refund of what you paid, tax included.
  • No return. There is no object to send back, and you keep the files.

Thirty calendar days

The window opens when your order is placed and stays open for 30 calendar days. Read the guide, work through it, put it down, come back to it. If, within that month, you decide it was not what you were looking for, write to us and we return your money.

We do not ask what went wrong, and we do not ask you to prove you tried. If you would like to tell us, we read every note and it genuinely helps us make the next edition better - but that is an invitation, not a condition.

Why there is nothing to return

Every SOLTECH product is a PDF. Delivery is an instant download: a link on your confirmation page and a second link in your email, yours to keep for life, on any device. Once a file has been downloaded it cannot be un-downloaded, and we are not going to pretend otherwise by asking you to delete it and confirm that you have.

So a refund here is simply that - the money comes back, and the guide stays with you. If you return to it a year from now and find it useful after all, that is a good outcome, not a debt.

Why we make it this easy

We are a new shop with no reviews and no sales figures to show you, because we would rather have none than borrow someone else's. Until there is a real body of readers, a straightforward refund is the honest way to carry the risk ourselves rather than ask you to carry it. Hostile refund terms are the house style of the hype-driven guide business we are deliberately not part of. There is no fine print below this line.

How to ask for a refund

Email hello@soltech.com from any address, and include your order number so we can find the purchase. That is the whole process. There is no form, no account to create, and no queue to argue your way through.

We reply to every message and confirm once the refund has been issued on our side.

When the money arrives

Refunds are returned through Shopify Payments to the original payment method - the same card or account the order was paid from. We cannot send it anywhere else, which is a safeguard rather than an obstacle.

Once we issue it, the funds typically settle within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank. That last stretch is on their timetable, not ours. If more than ten working days pass and you still see nothing, write to us and we will look into it with you.

Cancelling an order

If an order has not yet been processed, it can be cancelled within 15 minutes of purchase. Email hello@soltech.com with your order number as soon as you can. After that short window the order has gone through, and the 30-day refund above simply takes over - the outcome is the same, only the route differs.

Your statutory rights in the UK and the EU

Consumers in the United Kingdom and the European Union normally have a 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase. For digital content delivered immediately, that right usually ends once the download begins with your consent, which is what happens at a SOLTECH checkout.

We are telling you this plainly because it is the part most shops leave out. Our own 30-day refund is offered on top of the law, is more generous than the legal minimum, and applies whether or not you have opened the file. Nothing in this policy reduces the rights you have under UK or EU consumer law, and you are never in a worse position than the law leaves you.
