Who we are
SOLTECH GROUP HOLDINGS LIMITED is a limited company in the United Kingdom, at Brookleigh, Milley Road, Waltham Saint Lawrence, Reading, RG10 0JP, United Kingdom. We publish a small library of twelve digital guides, each one a PDF, sold through our store at soltech-9898.myshopify.com.
In these terms, SOLTECH, we, us and our mean that company. You means the person buying or reading a guide. Guide means any of the PDFs we sell.
These terms are written plainly on purpose. They are still the real agreement between us, and we would rather you understood them than skimmed them.
Agreeing to these terms
When you place an order, you accept these terms as they stand on that day. If any part of them does not sit well with you, the honest answer is not to buy - and if something is unclear, write to us at hello@soltech.com before you do.
We may revise these terms over time. Any revision applies to orders placed after it is published, not to purchases you have already made.
Eligibility
Our store is for people aged 18 or over. By ordering, you confirm you are at least 18 and able to enter into this agreement.
What you are buying
Every guide is a digital file. Nothing is posted to you and no physical item exists - there is no parcel, no tracking, no delivery address to give us.
Delivery is handled by the Digital Downloads app in Shopify. Once your payment is taken, a download link appears on the order confirmation page and is also sent to the email address you gave at checkout. The download is instant. Access is for life, on any device you like: keep the file, revisit it, read it again in a year.
Because the file reaches you at once, we treat the order as complete as soon as that link is issued. Our refund policy still applies, and it is generous - see below.
Your licence
Buying a guide does not make you its owner. It gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read and use that guide for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, for as long as you like.
That licence is wide enough for any honest use we can think of. You may read the guide on every device you own, print a copy for yourself, mark it up, and return to it as often as you wish.
What the licence does not cover
The licence is yours alone. It does not extend to:
- reselling a guide, in whole or in part, or offering it as a bonus, prize or bundle;
- redistributing, uploading, publishing or republishing a guide anywhere, including private groups, file-sharing services and messaging apps;
- sharing your download link or account access with anyone else;
- reproducing the text under your own name, or as part of a course, workshop, newsletter or product;
- using a guide, or any part of it, to train, fine-tune or evaluate machine learning systems, or to build a dataset of any kind.
If you would like to use our material with a group, a class or a team, that is a conversation we are glad to have. Write to hello@soltech.com and we will tell you plainly what is possible.
Where a licence is broken, we may end it. Ending a licence does not affect any other rights available to us.
Intellectual property
SOLTECH retains all intellectual property in the guides: the writing, the structure, the frameworks, the design, and the SOLTECH name and marks. None of it passes to you with a purchase. What passes to you is the licence described above, and nothing further.
An honest word about what these guides are
Our guides are educational and reflective material. They set out methods, frameworks and questions to sit with. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and reading one does not create a professional relationship of any sort between us.
We make no promise about outcomes. We do not claim a guide will change your circumstances, your income, your health or your habits. We cannot: what you build comes from your own practice, over time, in conditions we know nothing about. Anyone who tells you otherwise about a PDF is selling you something. What we can honestly offer is careful writing, and a steady way of thinking that you are free to test against your own life.
If you are struggling with your mental health, or facing a medical, legal or financial matter of consequence, please seek a qualified professional. Our guides are not a substitute for that support, and were never meant to stand in its place. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and already include any applicable taxes - the figure you see is the figure you pay. We sell to customers in most countries, and Shopify Markets converts prices into your local currency automatically at checkout; your bank or card issuer may apply its own conversion or fees, which are between you and them.
We may change our prices at any time. A change never reaches backwards: whatever you paid for a guide you already own stays as it was.
Payments are processed by Shopify Payments. We do not see or hold your full card details. You can check out as a guest - no account is needed to buy or to keep your files.
An order is accepted once payment is taken and the download link is issued. If payment is declined or reversed, the licence does not begin.
Cancellations and refunds
An order that has not yet been processed can be cancelled within 15 minutes of purchase. Email hello@soltech.com and we will act quickly.
Beyond that, you have 30 calendar days from your purchase to ask for your money back. You do not owe us a reason, we refund the full amount, and there is nothing to send back - a file cannot be returned. The money goes to your original payment method. Full details are in our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
Availability of the store
We work to keep the store and the download links running steadily, but we do not promise uninterrupted or fault-free service. Hosting, payment processing and delivery rest partly on third parties, and maintenance, outages and events outside our control happen from time to time.
If a download link fails, tell us at hello@soltech.com and we will reissue it. That is the plain remedy, and in practice it is almost always enough. We may also change, withdraw or replace guides in the library; if you already own one, you keep the file you bought.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited - including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Where you buy as a consumer, your statutory rights stand regardless of anything written here.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, business, data or goodwill, or for decisions you take after reading a guide. Where we are liable, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
You are responsible for keeping your own copy of the files you buy, and for any device or software needed to open a PDF.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protections of the mandatory law of your own country.
How we speak with you
We work by email. Order confirmations, download links and any notice from us go to the address you gave at checkout, so it is worth using one you read - and worth checking your spam folder if a confirmation seems slow to arrive.

General
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. These terms, together with our refund policy and the other policies on this store, are the whole agreement between us about the guides you buy.
